Making a will consists of many details and leaving out any pertinent information can cause a problem later. You might want to consider or include the follow info. Your full name and any nicknames or alias that you might have property in along with your occupation and status at the time of making your will. The date the will is made and the full names and status or occupation of the executor and his or her address.
You should also have a co-executor or an alternative executor just in case the first choice dies before you do. You must also note if you are thinking about marriage to someone in particular or if you have plans to enter into a partnership. How about any funeral wishes that you would like carried out in your behalf or how the taxes are to be paid on the gifts you are leaving.
Maybe you are a father and were never married to the mother of your children. Have you made a parental responsibility agreement and have you registered it? If you do have infant kids, have you chosen a guardian for them and provided arrangement for their care and maintenance from your estate? How about your pets? Have you included the appropriate provisions for then in your will.
